Each year during the month of November the members of VFW Post 3377 and its Ladies Auxiliary participate in Veterans in the Classroom. We visit local schools and present a program to students that is centered on patriotic themes. Working with the teachers at the schools visited, Veterans in the Classroom helps to support what the students study in the classroom.

In 2009 local schools visited were Bailey Middle School, Manchaca Elementary, and Kocurek Elementary all of the Austin Independent School District and Strickland Christian School of Austin.
